THEATERS IN BOGOTA

the most important theaters in bogota are the following:
-teatro nacional
-teatro cristobal colon

TEATRO NACIONAL:
this theater is located in the street 95#30-13
this theater is one of the most important in history of colombians theters because it was foundated by fanny mickey one of the most important actress in colombia. 
TEATRO CRISTOBAL COLON
this theater is located in street 10 #5-32
this theater is the beautifull theaters in bogota because shows many different things and its paintings are so beeautifull.
TEATRO COLSUBSIDO
this theater is located in street 26 #25-40
 this theater is important because have many different aspects for making differrent thinfs sucha s: watching movies , going to concerts, and going for theater plays.
TEATRO ASTOR PLAZA
this theater is located in the street 61#11-58
this theater is important because is maked also for many different aspects such as concerts movies or theaters plays. in this theater have been many different artists and this is an emblematic theater of bogota

neighborhoods!! alhambra

In my trip to look up of neighborhoods I found in the neighborhood i life that it is a nice neighborhood, but i prefer others, this had a "carulla" (marketplace) near the bridge, also in his way it is the shaio hospital, most of their flats are older.


most of the flats are not taller than 6 levels, this is located like in the 116 with 48 until the av. boyaca, i think that it is not the vest choose to life.


in my point of view it is not the vest choose, but it have his good points, it is well located near the boyaca and near the autopista it had parks and markets it is not the vest choose but i like it.




ENTERTAIMENT!! BOLICENTRO

BOLICENTRO:


In my trip to seen the entertaiment places that this beautiful city,  Bogota had, i found a place well located in one of the most famous malls in the city, unicentro an inside of it, we found bolicentro, a bowling place.





Here you can found a big place, with great service, and also with a restaurant inside of it, the day i visited this place it was full of people, and it was having remodelation, you can found many bowling, so if you are one of the ones that are waiting, do not
worry, because in any moment
you will play.
In my opinion this place is well located, had nice attention, had a restaurant, is big and all of this make it a perfect place to have entartaiment with the family or friends, i like it!







LIBRERIA NACIONAL JULIO MARIO SANTO DOMINGO

LIBRERIA NACIONAL JULIO MARIO SANTO DOMINGO:


It is the most huge library in all southamerica, this library has been open since the 4 of june of 2010, it is located in the calle 170 between carrers 49 and 64, it is one of the four huge libraries in the bibliored, all custumers will have 339 underground parking, also another 140 for bicycle.




This huge place also has two multiple classrooms and training rooms, technology of viddeos are also here,  internet is all where also in the theaters that are inside of the library, techonology for people with visual and audial problems are important and this cultural place has it, i think that this site is so huge, important, new sophisticated and also complete place that all people not only the readers will enjoy it.


In my point of view i think that is a great place with many things to do, not only read books, it is well located and is a cultural place to stay in, it is a great place. In this trip I enjoy it because I think that is great this place, is a nice, new and inovator library, so go and enjoy it

Museums

In the museums of Bogotá we can find a lot but we are going to recommend 3 of the museums of Bogotá, down you can see the pictures.





In the museums we are going to tell you from top to below so the orders of the museums are on the writing of them.

1.The first museum we can see is the museum of gold that is located at 16th street, in this museum we can see a collection of gold, is the best in the world, with a lot of figures of gold from the muiscas pre-Columbian tribe that lived in this place and that used the sun as a god. In been more specific we can see that there are objects of the Quimbaya, Calima, Tayrona, Sinu, Muiscas, Tolima, Tumaco and Magdalena.

In this museum the visitors are very interest and grateful for the information given by the museum which include a lot of the Colombian ancestral story and about how those cultures affected our actual civilization, also the people say that is great because the museum give papers for reading and looking for more information about this story that the museum represent.

One of the most interesting aspects is that as having the biggest collection of gold in the world a lot of person can see the different traditions that the Colombian territory had, also how the Spaniards that came to Colombia tried to destroy this traditions that is now seen in the Colombian gold museum, the greatest exposition of the pre-Columbian cultures.


2. The other 3 pictures are of the museum of the Chico, it is located at the 7th street, in this place we can see that the thing that highlight is the wall that represent a part of the hacienda de Chico, in this museum there is a collection of old period of Colombia, we can see that is a lot of paintings and art pieces that represent the periods of Colombia.

In this museum we can see the Spanish building process in Latin America, and how this presence was seen in the past Santa Fe, also we can see a lot of the Spanish culture in a museum that is inside, actually this place is seen as a meeting point in which you have to do an appointment for doing meeting, like marriages, first communions and funerals.

One of the interesting aspects for this museum is that we can see a lot of the colonial time objects, like paintings, sculptures, papers, a lot of things we can see, also the thing that is attractive in this place is the time this building has remained in the city, because the Spaniards building it very well, so nowadays it is a national architectural monument. 

3. In the last 2 pictures we can see the national museum of Colombia, it is located at the 7th street, this museum shows all the history of Colombia and Bogotá, it has objects from 10,000 B.C and has over 20.000 objects of the county, this museum was made in 1823,it represents a lot of things, such important is this museum that in 1975 was declared historical monument.

This museum is one of the most important, or maybe the most important museum in the whole country, that represents the whole Colombian territory history, form the prehistoric time to the know days historical events, so in this museum we can see the things the Colombians have, had, and maybe the things we can have, this is why the museum is great.

This museum shows the times of the Colombian people, such as the arrival of the nomads from North America and their establishment, also the colonization of the territory by the Spaniards that came from Europe to look for Asia, other things we can see are the independence and the way Colombia have raise like a country in the world. 

You should visit these places and be more interest in the history of Colombia.

Bogota´s history

In Bogota we can highlight a lot for cultural features such as a lot of interesting dates and moments in Colombia, below we can see pictures and their story:


Ok, so the order is from up to down, so below are the historical events.

1. the national capitol is in the 10th street with 7 and 8 avenue, the capitol represent the meeting point of the congressmen, in its rooms are the representative chamber were shares place with the congress of the republic, in this place we can highlight that in this is were also the presidents take their position after winning the elections, were the president of the congress says the words of respect to the president.

and it was made in 1847 in the presidential period of Tomas Cipriano de Mosquera, it is made in blonde stone with a lot of legacy of workers, it have 6 columns of the roman style, also is a very important monument of history not just for the period of time the building it has still in the place, but also because the monument represent how our libertadores had worked for our independence and that their sacrifice wasn’t in vain.

for me the national capitol is a very interesting place because it represents the Colombian democracy and the power of the people in the government, also i can say that this places is where you can see a lot of the real life style of the Bogotans, because we can differ this type of building from other places styles, just because the Bogotans have a unique technique of building, so that shows that the Bogotans have done a highlighted culture and costumes by just showing this building.

2. The plaza de Bolivar is a very important historical place, it is located at the 7and 8 avenue with 10 and 11 streets, it is important because in this place has been Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada. Also the killing of some comuneros at the power of José Antonio Galan and always saved the echo of the independence yell of July 20 of 1810, that later would be won by the creoles and making this great nation

here was kill Policarpa Salavarrieta, and Simon Bolivar arrived here with the victory of the battle of Boyacá, then a lot of historical places were build around it, also in this plaza you can see a lot of sculptures, not simple sculptures, this sculptures show the busts of all the presidents that had passed through the leadership of Colombia, that shows the importance of the Colombian democracy.

in this place also we can see that they are located many important monuments, this monuments are the palacio de justicia, the national capitol, the catedral primada, the libano where the mayor of Bogotá is, and in their area we can find the casa de Nariño were the president life and do his job and more at north we can find the casa de las Flores were the yell of independence was born.


3.th sanctuary of monserrate is one of the most know historical places of Bogotá, it is located at 2 east avenue, making a good view at the top of the mountain is the sanctuary of monserrate and is a place in which
you can pray , in which the colonial tradition remains, it have a statue of Jesus in which all people pray, it is at 3,200 meters below sea level.

this place is for the people who like to pray, this place contains a lot of historical events that we can show as an Spanish type building during the Spanish colonialism in America, also we can see that the people that come here has an important relationship with Catholicism, there are some rumors that people that the believers climb the stairs in their knees, some people come bleeding.

when the Christmas come to the world this place gets decorated with a lot of lights, in which we can highlight that the figures made by this lights are the crosses, saints, and Jesus, which represents how the Christians in Bogotá like this place, including that they are a majority in Bogotá, making this place a very interesting theme for visiting Bogotá.

Tematic parks

Salitre Magico


Salitre Magico is a tematic park ubicated in the occident of Bogota. This park was inagurated in 1973,  this park have more than 30 atractions and is the most visited park in bogota.
 Salitre Magico is the most important park of the city because it have all tipes of atraccions. Most of the people that go to this park are children whith their parents. Also Salitre Magico have the bigguest atraction  in Bogota call "la rueda".


this parck as i say before is the most important of bogota because it have the best attractions of all bogota, this parck recive all the schools during the school year. also they make discaunts for schools to be more cheapper.


i invite you to go to this park because i know you will have fun and you can have a cool time with your family or friends. and you will not regreat abaut the prices beacuse they are very economic.




Parque Simon Bolivar


Simon bolivar is the biggest and important parck of Bogota, it was inagurated in 1968, this park is conformed by 12 parks where you can make different activities like: joggyn, play every kind of sports, you can also go and have a romantic time in the "parque de los novios" where couples go and have a very special time, also there is a library call Virgilio Barco. In this park the goverment make concerts of any tipe of musical gener. One of the most important moments of this park was when the pope Juan Pablo II go to the park and kiss the land. there are all the concerts celbrated also is celbreted the race call "la media maraton de bogota".


in this park you will also find every tipe of fun. the most iportant thing that happen in this park are the concerts that are organized in the year, like hip hop al parque and jazz al parque and the concert of  La mega. you can enjoy this concerts during the whole year.


also yuo can have some fun riding in bisicle, walk in the park, make a picknik in the park or just chill. i invite you to this park because is a very nice parck were you can have fun.






 

Museo de los ninos:

This  is a museum in form of a city where children can learn playing and making all types of activities. childrern in this place learn abaut math, science, and spanish also they learn abut history and astronomy for kids this is  a common place where you can see small kids palying and having fun with their parents also it is ubicaded in the 53 street next to the "salitre magico"


in this parck your kids will have a lot of fun  learning and playing. the most interesting part of this parck is that you can learn too beacuse is a parck for every body adults, kids and old people.
